Room was basic but exactly what we wanted. 5 rooms needed for our family group and we're all put together which was really good of them. Room silent and a good night sleep had by all.

The stay was very pleasant,the reception staff were very helpful and proficient.

Everything was good didn’t try breakfast.

The fact that I had booked thro Ibis for Friday the 2/01/2024 but when arriving at hotel was told my booking been cancelled,I was quoted £112.00 for that night which I assumed was paid as the lady I spoke with took my card details,but apparently that wasn’t the case,I had to then pay £120.00 which I wasn’t particularly happy about. I had previously booked via booking.com for the Saturday night 3/01/2024 and the lady I booked the Friday night with said she would contact the hotel to make sure I could keep the same room for both nights.

It was alright to be fair, staff very friendly, facilities good

Location was very ideal, 2 tube stations very close to hotel, lots of good places in walking distance, the bathroom was quaint but perfect size

The ventilation in the bathroom was a bit rubbish as it couldn’t really be aired out, I get about being sustainable and fans/heater being on offer at reception but an choice or air con might have been better, breakfast being an additional charge

Hotel is located near a metro station so it's easy to travel. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. You could hear your neighbours flushing their toilet or walking past but traffic sounds were mute. Complimentary shampoo & soap. Breakfast not included and didn't try it. Tesco in the same building. Good budget place for someone not spending a lot of time in the hotel or whom needs no service from the staff.

There were practically no service at all. Check-in asked our name, gave us the room key and said the room number aloud. That was bit weird. Also our room locks were changed mid stay and nobody informed us! Just suddenly our room keys didn't work (elevators did so it was "nice" to run up and down).

Was spotless and so modern good quality and range of food for breakfast

Incorrect breakfast times are shown on posters in lifts and lift space on floor 3. Breakfast starts at 7.30 am on Saturday and Sunday.

Really nice location of the hotel, undergroud station just around the corner, a supermarket and many restaurants, cafes and shops in the neighborhood. Aldgate is a perfect place to book your room if you plan to explore the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures and are very comfortable and clean. We loved the bed. A possibility of using your own memory stick in room's tv is a huge advantage. Windows can be opened so you don't have to use AC. And the price is really fair :)

Breakfasts were rather tasty in general but extremely heavy. After 3 days of eating them you dream of some fresh vegetables - unfortunately there were none of them. Add some tomatoes or cucumbers - not everyone among your guests is used to the typical English Breakfast ;) And please change coffee provider ;)

beds really comfortable. staff super helpful. atmosphere pleasant. very accessible. close to tube. sausages really nice. bread really good.

both mornings I had breakfast early-ish ( 8 o clock) and the hot food was cold. which was a pity because otherwise the food was great. I still ate everything but couldn't figure out the temp. Was it because of the incredibly hot weather that the heat under the food counter wasn't turned on? It was my only complaint but the breakfasts did cost 10 quid each!

Great location. Small supermarket next door. 1 stop from Liverpool Street Station, where Stansted Express terminates. Good bed, pleasant room and bathroom. Our shower drain was clogged, filling the floor with water. We called maintenance and they fixed it immediately. They also cleaned the bathroom afterwards.

We have been here several times, normally we are very happy. This time, housekeeping was quite disappointing. No new towels, dirty cups were not replaced, toilet paper not supplemented, dirty towels. We told them about this and they would give us whatever we needed, but it is not pleasant to have to ask for something every day.

Location was great, right next to the underground train station, next to Tesco, next to eateries

The only issue with this location was too much of noice. Could here police, ambulance, firefighters sirens going off almost every hour and event till late in the morning you could hear the sirens. The bed was not comfortable after 4 nights sleep I had a sore back.

Polite helpful staff, clean facilities, city center

Parking facility does not belong to the hotel. NCP car park across the street which is very expensive if renting a car - 38 GBP / 24h. Cannot park after 23:00, nor can renew previously paid ticked. Hotel did not provide any forms of parking, nor allowance. There is another parking lot (Minories) which is better prices, however is a 15min walk distance.

Clean and modern rooms. Close to underground and walking distance to bars, restaurants and markets etc. very hip area, lots of things happening. Helpful staff. Did not book with breakfast, but lots of small cafes and a grocery store next door, didn’t feel like a mistake.

I loved this hotel very much, I am a loyal Ibis customer but I liked this hotel the most. The rooms are very beautiful, comfy, clean and modern. The property is very close to the metro and bus station. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very warm and helpful. I would always choose this hotel and recommend it to everyone.

Less than 50 metres from the metro Aldgate East. Zone active with restaurants, transports,...but not too much touristic. Opportunity to discover another London and close to the Docklands too. Good report quality price. Rooms standard but enough for a 2 days stay. Maintenance man very helpful to repair the wheel of my luggage.

Only one small negative point: when we ask for a cab, they shouldn't call a private company more expensive than others. It happened twice.
